MICASENSE Calibrated Reflectance Panel

The MICASENSE calibrated reflection panel is particularly recommended for using the cloud-based MisaSense software to evaluate the collected data. To correct the white balance, reference images of the panel are taken before and after each flight, which are included in the calculation and allow for more accurate data.
The use of the (Calibrated Reflectance Panel (CRP) in combination with MicaSense RedEdge-M and Parrot Sequoia cameras enables more accurate compensation of incident light conditions and generation of quantitative data. The CRP has known reflectance values across the visible and near-infrared light spectrum. As a best practice, CRP images should be taken before and after each flight to provide an accurate representation of in-flight light conditions.
