However, devices like the DJI Phantom 4 RTK and DJI Matrice 210 RTK V2, by using an NTRIP subscription, can correct their location in real time while flying, to get the accuracy right down to centimetres instantly. Because of this live correction, the GPS location stored in the picture's metadata is immediately the exact location, which means that when processing the data into a 2d or 3d model, you (virtually) no longer need Ground Control Points.
