Multiple operating modes
The Zenmuse gimbal system has three different control modes, fixed mode (for FPV, for example), semi-free mode and free mode. Controllable rotation angle in three axes
The Zenmuse 3-axis gimbal system has an advanced mechanical design. The rear potentiometer significantly increases control, stability and precision, and internal slip rings eliminate the need for complicated wiring. All necessary power and signal lines are integrated into the frame, allowing the gimbal to rotate in the axes without limitation. Pan is unlimited in the 360° range, tilt goes from -120° to +15° and in the roll axis it reaches ±25°. The control method is extremely simple, the motion radius of the transmitter stick controls the corresponding rotation speed.
Built-in independent IMU and infrared module
DJI has perfected the attitude stabilisation algorithm through years of development work. Combined with high-precision mechanics, this enables completely precise position control. As no complicated installation or additional cables are required, installation is correspondingly simple and the satellite flies extremely high. A dedicated video output module is also integrated into the gimbal, allowing remote triggering via infrared.
