The lower quick-release plate has a scale on both sides and a knurled slot design at the bottom. This complements the fine adjustment knob on the gimbal's tilt axis, allowing cinematographers to make precise millimetre-level adjustments when changing cameras or lenses. It also facilitates a quick transition between tripods and camera stabilisers.
