Lightweight and reliable|A revolutionary compact housing

The RS 3 Mini has a new, innovative design with a smaller size, an integrated battery and true vertical shooting. The compact and handy body fits easily into a shoulder bag, so you can travel light. The RS 3 Mini is about half the size of the RS 3 Pro. This makes it much more comfortable to carry during prolonged shooting.

Super lightweight, easy to operate

The RS 3 Mini weighs only 795g in portrait mode, making it about 50% lighter than the RS 3 Pro and 40% lighter than the RS 3.[1] It weighs only 850g when photographed with the horizontal arm. Moreover, a concentrated centre of gravity provides a more stable and ergonomic feel.

Just powerful

The RS 3 Mini has a payload of up to 2 kg, making it the best in its class in terms of weight*, allowing it to easily handle larger configurations, such as a Sony A7S3 + 24-70 mm F2.8 GM lens. It supports popular full-frame or mirrorless APS-C cameras and allows a wide range of camera and lens combinations. [2] With high-torque motors, the RS 3 Mini can maintain stable shooting with most lenses, even when zooming to the maximum focal length, without the need for re-alignment. * From January 2023.

Extended camera movements

The size and features of the RS 3 Mini offer many opportunities to realise extensive camera movements and a unique cinematic language. Camera movements are no longer a problem. So you can capture every moment at the first attempt and film with more confidence.

Flexible and comprehensive||New two-layer quick-release plate

An improved two-layer quick-release plate features a top plate with a curved position guide that prevents the camera from rotating and detaching. Clear mounting and locking markings further improve efficiency. It also follows the ARCA standard, making it easy to switch between tripods.

True vertical shots

With the DJI RS 3 Mini, the RS series has made a breakthrough in true vertical shooting. Switch instantly to vertical shooting without additional accessories. Simply mount the regular quick release plate on the gimbal's vertical arm and record videos that are instantly optimised for social media. Compared to portrait modes on other gimbals, the RS 3 Mini's gimbal rotation angle is significantly larger in native vertical mode. It even offers the same operating experience as horizontal mode. Filming is also easy in portrait mode, pendant mode, torch mode and other modes.

NATO expansion port

The RS 3 Mini is equipped with a NATO port to support the installation of accessories such as briefcase handles, external lighting and monitors, allowing more configurations and more flexibility.

Intuitive operation||Bluetooth recording button

The RS 3 Mini has the same Bluetooth recording button introduced on the RS 3 Pro. This feature supports popular mirrorless camera models and allows the RS 3 Mini to automatically reconnect to a camera after the initial pairing. After Bluetooth pairing, you can control your camera's video and photo capture functions directly from the record button on the gimbal. If you use a Sony camera with a supported digital lens, you can control the optical or digital zoom of the lens directly from the front dial, eliminating the need for a camera control cable. [2]

Gimbal mode button

Press the M button to switch between PF (tracking with pan), PTF (tracking with pan and tilt) and FPV modes. You can also adjust the RS 3 Mini's tracking speed and other parameters on the touchscreen, making for a smoother and more intuitive recording experience.

1.4-inch colour touchscreen

The RS 3 Mini features a 1.4″ colour touchscreen with a new user interface. Here you can set most functions without an app and get quick and intuitive access to general settings.

Focusing with the front dial

Like the rest of the DJI RS series, the RS 3 Mini has an ergonomic front dial that can be rotated to adjust focus, ISO, aperture, shutter speed and other parameters. [3] Control the movement of the gimbal's three axes with the front dial for more effective single-person shots.

10 hours of continuous recording

The built-in battery in the handle supports up to 10 hours of battery life and provides enough power to fully meet the demands of an entire day of recording. [4] Fully charge the RS 3 Mini in just 2.5 hours to get back to work quickly. You can even use it while charging. [5]

DJI microphone for professional audio recording

Combine RS 3 Mini with DJI Mic to effortlessly enhance vlogs with higher-quality audio. [6] With its integrated design, the DJI Mic is ready to use straight from the charging station. The compact wireless microphone can transmit over a distance of up to 250m and can support recordings of up to 15 hours with the charging station. The transmitters are lightweight and handy. With the magnetic accessory, the microphone can also be mounted inconspicuously, allowing you to perform numerous recording scenarios safely.

About refurbished products

This product has been used, but is in very good/as good as new condition. It was returned within 14 days and often used only briefly. The overall condition is almost like new.
