DJI Focus Remote Controller

The DJI Focus Remote Controller, the remote control for the DJI Focus. Note: excluding motor.
Adjustable endpoints
While cinema lenses have built-in hard stops, photographic lenses do not. On focus, you can adjust the lens to the endpoints of any lens you want to use. Because the motor uses an encoder, the built-in processor knows exactly what position the motor is in, allowing you to adjust in seconds by turning the lens itself to infinity and marking it and then repeating at the other end.
Zenmuse X5 / X5R controller
A separately available cable allows the DJI Focus hand unit to be connected to an Inspire transmitter. With this connection, lens focus and iris can be controlled directly in real time with the Focus.
Low latency
On the ground, the remote transmits at distances of up to 100 metres with only 14 ms delay in open space.
Adjustable wheel tension
The already tactile focus wheel is adjustable to respond to your needs. Simply turn the control knob until it reaches a stiffness or looseness that feels good on your hand.
Replaceable marker ring
A white marking ring around the focusing disc can be changed and can be marked out using anything from masking tape to wax pencil for different lenses or projects. A lamp behind the ring illuminates it from behind, making markings visible even on a dark set.
The customer-oriented
An OLED menu on the remote control lets you fine-tune how the Focus works for you. You can even set multiple focus points and the speed at which the camera races between them, making complex movements simple and repeatable.
Rosette mounting
Connect other accessories to the Focus remote or even connect it to other parts of your equipment. Thanks to its built-in rosette mount, it can be placed wherever you want it safely.
Rechargeable battery
The included lithium-ion battery can power the Focus during a shoot and can be changed within seconds when it runs out of power. You can charge it in the studio or even on the go from a power pack via the USB charging port.
